Set a summer reading challenge with a friend. Or start a rotating cooking club with a new group of friends.
Experiment: Operate in short cycles. Make quick decisions and be okay with mistakes and what you learn from them. How? Try one new thing each week. Check out that independent bookstore you’ve heard about. Watch YouTube to learn how to wallpaper a tired bathroom. Ask a friend to teach you the art of flyfishing.
Embracing new activities can boost your professional growth and leadership skills by encouraging innovative thinking and a flexible mindset. Your active and engaged brain will thank you.
